2.2 Adaptation to the tractor - pivotstar
Attach the mower in the 3-pt linkage of the tractor. Posi-

tion 3-pt linkage in such a way that the draw bar will
be almost in horizontal position with a height of
approx. 50 cm (19 2/3 in). Choose a tractor suitable
of transporting and working with this machine! The
mower can be attached onto tractors with cat. II link-
age only.
The draft links shall be attached to the machine through

freely rotatable balls..Ensure the draft link catches are
locked and safetied.
Connect pto drive shaft. The freewheel clutch of the pto

drive shaft must be at the machine side. If necessary
shorten the pto drive shaft between tractor and mower
to prevent damage when it is in its shortest position.
Ensure it is shortened correctly and to the exact length
(see fig. and the instructions at the shaft).
Connect the hydraulic hoses of the drawbar cylinder to

a double acting spool valve. Connect the hydraulic
hose of the wheel cylinders to a single acting spool
valve. If the tractor is only fitted with a double acting
spool valve, a diverter valve must be installed (optional
equipment, see 6.5).
a) Fully retract the support jack (1) using crank (2).

b) Pull jack stand (1) out against spring force and
rotate it 90° to the right.
c) Place the jack stand (1) in its transport position with
the crank (2) in the holder (3).
Attention:
Jack stand must always be placed in transport posi-
tion when mower is mounted to the tractor!
Always use stabilisers or check chains to prevent side-

ways movement of the mower.
Ensure the hitch pins by depth limiting chains. Keep this

height using the depth limiting chains (optional equip-
ment, see 6.3).
