3.2 Moving the mower into working
position
Attention:
Never mow with the mowing unit in (near) transport
position, this causes severe damages to the mower
(excluding any warranty)!
Open the shut-off taps of the wheel cylinders and the

drawbar cylinder.
Fold down the lateral guards of the mower.

Set the spool valve for the wheel cylinders to floating

position. The mower will then be lowered.
Attention:
Before unlocking the drawbar cylinder make sure the
mower is horizontal and secured against any unin-
tentional movement (wheel chocks)!
Using the drawbar cylinder the mower is laterally
moved from transport to working position and v.v.
The shut off valve on the cylinder enables locking of
drawbar position as required. The drawbar cylinder
can be attached in three different positions to the
drawbar (see the illustration). This permits the mower
to be matched to the tractor width.(
The position of the machine can be corrected at any
time using the cylinder. The drawbar cylinder pin
must always be secured by the linch pin!
Operate the double acting spool valve for the drawbar

cylinder to move the drawbar to working position (see
also 2.3).
In order to facilitate sharp turns (e.g. on the head land),

the lateral position of the machine can be controlled
momentarily by the drawbar cylinder.
3.3 Lifting the mower into headland po-
sition
Pressurize wheel cylinders through single valve control lever.
The wheel cylinders will lift the mowing unit. Now the
mowing unit is sufficiently lifted to enable manoeuvring on the
headland without problems. To continu mowing move the
control lever back into floating position and the mowing unit
will return to mowing position.
