The differential pressure switch does not
switch on the heater in spite of a fully
open hot water valve.
Appliance does not supply hot water in
spite of audible switch-on noise of the
water flow operated power switch.
Servicing
(carried out by a competent person only)
Ensure that the heater is disconnected
from the mains electricity supply before
servicing or repair work is carried out.
Draining / Emptying
The instantaneous water heater must be
drained if there is a danger of frost damage
or if it is not to be used over a longer
period.
The unit is emptied via the cold water pipe
by closing the three-way valve in the
cold water supply (figure 7, position 5) and
loosening the cold water pipes on the
three-way valve.
Descaling / Servicing the flange
The DHF instantaneous heater, due to its
sheathed heating element, is only suitable
for soft water areas (see table 2). Calcifi-
cation/scaling can still occur in soft water
areas. The heating flange can become calci-
fied/covered in limescale. A service flange
is available in order to make this operation
easier.
The order number for the service flange is
detailed in Table 3.

The service flange is pre-wired and is
supplied with flange gasket, flange screws
and fully detailed instructions.

switching on is not reached.
– Soiling or calcification of the perlators in
the fixtures or the shower heads.

the appliance for safety reasons.

– Dismantling and decalcification of the
perlators in the taps or the shower
heads.

– Clean sieve after closing the cold water
supply line (see Fig. 14).
– Remove cause of malfunction. Press
blue button on safety cut-out but do so
only when no pressure is present (i. e.,
with open tap) and with the appliance
disconnected from the electrical mains.
– Replace heating system.
