Follow the guidelines listed below:
• The parameters of the device's power supply must comply with the parameters of the device indicated on its
rating plate!
• The electrical connection of the unit must be in accordance with IEC 364 (DIN VDE 0100). For safety reasons, the
device must be connected to a 30 mA earth leakage circuit breaker. (A type B earth fault circuit breaker protects
the unit and its operator in the event of a short circuit or electrical fault).
• Do not connect the unit to the power supply if its power cord is damaged. Replacement of the power cord and
plug must be performed only by repair service or specialists authorized by the device manufacturer.
• Do not use an extension cord to connect the device to the power supply! When using an extension cord, observe
the manufacturer's instructions and local regulations (minimum cable cross-section: 1.5 mm2).
• The unit's power cord must be secured in a suitable manner so that no employee trips over it. Do not allow the
unit's power cord to touch sharp edges or hang in the air. Care must be taken not to press or crush the power cord.
Also, take care not to place the power cord on or near objects of high temperature and protect it from grease and
caustic cleaners.
• Do not pull or reposition the unit by the power cord. If the unit is connected by a power plug, the power outlet
must be easily accessible during operation of the unit so that the plug can be pulled out of the outlet quickly
and easily in the event of a fault. Do not plug a wet plug into a power outlet. Do not connect the unit to a power
source with wet hands.
4. Connection to mains water supply
Inferior products and water may cause damage to the unit. Observe the following guidelines:
• The feed water must be treated and the chlorine content should be less than 100 mg / l.
• Make sure that water with corrosive agents or contaminated water is not poured into the coffee machine.
• The maximum carbonate hardness is 5 dH (German degrees). The water reaction should be neutral and should
be between 6.5 and 7 pH. The total hardness must always be higher than the carbonate hardness - in case of the
opposite situation, use filters suitable for calcium water.
• Use only a new set of hoses! It is not allowed to connect old or used water hose sets.
• The water connection must be made in accordance with these instructions and with local regulations. If the unit
is connected to a new water line, make sure that the line is clean.
• The appliance must be connected to a water supply using a shut-off valve. A water pressure regulator must also
be installed on the water supply, with a G 3/8" connector (Set the reduction to 0.3 MPa (3 bar)).
7.2. Installation
• Open the appliance box, remove the appliance and spare parts. The appliance and all its accessories may only be
installed and stored in a frost-free location.
• Remove the coffee maker and accessories, install the cooler on the right side of the coffee maker.
1. Installing the milk supply line
Step 1: Connect the cable to the appropriate connector.
1
Step 2: Run the other end of the cable over the drip tray. The installation is complete.
Note: Insert the end of the cord into the milk container.
Note: If the machine is connected to a refrigerator, connect the end of the cord to the connector on the
coffee maker and to the refrigerator.
The installation of the milk supply line is now complete.
2. Connection of water supply line
Step 1: Connect the end of the water supply line to the water supply fitting, tighten the retaining nut in a clockwise
direction.
