Step 3: Replace the lid on the coffee bean container.
The coffee grind level setting is now complete.
Note: Before starting to set the coffee grind level, make sure that the machine is running. Otherwise, the
coffee grinding gear may be damaged.
11. WASTE TRANSPORT AND DISPOSAL
The following actions must be performed by persons authorized by the device manufacturer.
1. Transportation
• Keep the cardboard packaging of the coffee machine for future transport.
• Empty the entire water system of the device before transporting it, otherwise the device can be damaged.
• Clean the dispenser after it has been emptied completely.
• If a draining procedure is performed, the system must perform the original initial start-up procedure again when
the machine is used again. (Reference P20, default setting).
• During the draining procedure of the water system, steam comes out of the coffee outlet. Danger of scalding by
hot liquids!
2. Waste disposal
• The grounds container can be emptied into the trash for regular household waste.
3. Waste water treatment
• The waste produced during coffee brewing is purely organic, so it should not be disposed of with normal house-
hold waste.
4. Disposal of cleaning products
• The cleaning agents recommended in this manual comply with legal requirements if used correctly and can the-
refore be discharged into the sewer system together with the rinse water without further treatment procedures.
5. Disposal of the device at the end of its life
• This device and all its accessories are made of high-quality materials and are recyclable and reusable.
• The unit must not be disposed of with household waste.
• When disposing of the device at the end of its useful life, please comply with local applicable laws, national stan-
dards and EU directives.
12. WORKING SAFELY WITH THE DEVICE
12.1. Risks associated with flushing the device
1. Usage:
Caution: Potential danger from cleaning agents!
Strictly follow the guidelines outlined below:
• Always keep cleaning products out of the reach of children.
• Do not ingest cleaning products.
• Do not mix cleaning products with other chemicals or acids.
• Keep cleaning products away from the milk container.
• Keep cleaning products away from the water container (inner and outer).
• Use cleaning tablets and decalcifying agent according to the instructions and manufacturer's directions on their
labels.
• Do not eat or drink while using the cleaning tablets.
• Ensure good ventilation and air exhaust in the room where the appliance is used.
• Use protective gloves when cleaning the device.
• Wash your hands immediately if you come into contact with chemicals and after cleaning.

• Avoid heating of the device as well as cleaning products, exposing them to sunlight or moisture.
