12.2. Hygiene regulations
1. Water:
Note: Improper installation of the unit and improper handling of water or use of untreated water may result in health
hazards.
Carefully follow the guidelines listed below:
• Use only clean drinking water.
• Do not pour water with corrosive agents into the unit.
• The maximum carbonate hardness is 5 dH (German degrees). The water reaction should be neutral and should
be between 6.5 and 7 pH. The total hardness must always be higher than the carbonate hardness - in case of the
opposite situation, use filters suitable for calcium water.
• The total hardness must always be higher than the carbonate hardness - if the opposite is the case, use filters
suitable for calcium water.
• Also use a direct connection of the unit to the water source.
• The chlorine value should be less than 100 mg/l.
• Use the machine with a water tank (external or internal).
• Fill the water tank with fresh water daily.
• Clean the water container before filling.
2. Coffee:
Caution: stale and improperly prepared coffee can cause health risks
Follow the guidelines outlined below closely:
• Check the coffee pack.
• Only fill the dispenser with an amount of coffee that does not exceed the daily consumption.
• After filling the bean container with coffee beans, close it immediately.
• Store the coffee beans in a dry, cool and lockable room.
• Store coffee beans away from cleaning agents.
• Always use fresh coffee beans for grinding and brewing.
• Always check that the coffee has not exceeded its expiration date before use.
• After opening a new package and filling the container with coffee beans, close the package tightly to avoid con-
tamination of the beans remaining in the package.
3. Milk:
Caution: stale and improperly stored milk can cause health risks!
Follow the guidelines outlined below closely:
• Do not use raw milk.
• Use only pasteurized or heat-treated milk.
• Use only homogenized milk.
• The milk must be between 3-5 °C.
• Wear gloves when pouring the milk.
• Only use milk from its original container.
• Using the original container to pour milk into it is not permitted. Wash the container before pouring milk into the
container.
• Check the milk container.
• Only pour as much milk into the container as will not exceed your daily consumption.
• After filling the container with milk, close the lid and then close the refrigerator (applies to outer and inner con-
tainer).
• Store milk in a dry, cold, closed area (highest temperature is 7
• Keep milk away from cleaning products.
• Always use fresh milk.
• Make sure to use the milk during its shelf life.
• After opening the milk container and filling the container, seal the container tightly to prevent contamination.
13. LIABILITY AND WARRANTY
13.1. Responsibility of the device user
• All activities connected with repair and maintenance of the device can be performed only by the manufacturer's
repair service or personnel authorized by the manufacturer.
• If you notice any problems with the appliance due to factory defects, inform the manufacturer of the appliance.
• Repair of safety components, such as the safety valve, safety thermostat, is prohibited. Replace all components
with new ones.
• All these activities must be performed only by the appliance manufacturer's repair service or by personnel autho-
rized by the manufacturer.
13.2. Warranty and compensation
Any personal injury or loss of property caused by the negligent acts listed below will relieve the manufacturer of the
equipment from liability for the loss.
• Non-compliance.
• Improper installation, testing, operation, cleaning, maintenance and repair of the unit.
• Failure to observe periodic maintenance.
• Operating the device if the safety device is damaged, improperly installed or fails.
• Operating the device without observing the relevant regulations for the device, its installation, operation and
maintenance.
• Operating the appliance incorrectly or using a damaged appliance.
• Inappropriate repair of the device or repair by unauthorized persons.
• Use of non-recommended or non-original spare parts.
• Use of non-recommended cleaning agents.
