DANGER!
Only use sockets that are in perfect condition. Wobbly plugs or sockets can
lead to fires. Reception may be impaired if the plugs or sockets are
defective. You may not use a defective socket. Get defective plugs or
sockets repaired by a specialist before using the appliance.
DANGER!
Pull the plug out of the socket immediately if the plug or power cable is
damaged. Get customer services to exchange the mains cable for a new
one with a sealed plug. Do not connect the appliance to the mains power
until the damage has been repaired. Otherwise there is a risk of an electric
shock.
Plug the mains plug into a properly installed socket (230V ~ 50Hz).
The clock and control light are lit on the front of the device. Depending on the
current setting (refer to page 35) the appliance is switched on or into standby
mode using the "
STANDBY
In standby operation the clock is displayed and the control light still shines
blue. In "Low-Power-Standby-Mode" (cf. page 35) the screen is switched off
and the control light is lit amber.
The clock is only shown on the screen after a channel is received.
