6. Using a pliers, remove the snap ring from the
column locating pin.

7. Pull the locating pin out of the mounting column.

8. Use a cutter to remove the safety cords that hold
the mounting column.

9. Fasten the hoisting straps for lifting the column as
shown in the illustration.

10. Carefully lift the column and guide by hand.

This procedure must be carried out by two
trained people equipped with personal protective
equipment to avoid injury.

Slowly lift the column and ensure that it does not
strike the structure and is not damaged as a result.
4.2.3 Attaching the mounting column

Before you perform the following steps, position the
column on the structure as shown below.
1. Insert the air hose into the housing.
2. Position the mounting column in the inside of the
housing as shown in the illustration.

Before installing the locating pin, lift the mounting
column by means of a hoisting crane to visually align
the sleeve of the column with the boreholes of the
mounting column.
