3.Plug the power cord into an AC outlet.

the R(ight) and L{eft) OUTPUT ter-
minals to the tape input terminals of
your amplifier. Refer to the amplifier's
owner's manual.

5.Set the amplifier controls appropriately
for tape input. Refer to the amplifier's
owner's manual.
6.Set the switches and controls on the
front panel of the deck as follows:

7.Press the POWER
switch @ on. The
digital counter
should indicate 00 00
and a NOISE
REDUCTION
indicator
(if selected) should light.

8.Open
the cassette holder by pressing
the EJECT @ button.
J.Insert a prerecorded cassette with the
exposed
tape opening downwards and
the "side" you want to hear facing
outwards.
10.Push the cassette holder door closed. [ox]
11.Set the tape in forward motion by press-
ing the
PLAY ( » ) @ button. The
cassette hubs should start turning and the
meter should light in accordance with
the recorded signal levels.
12.Turn up the OUTPUT control
@ to
obtain a comfortable signal level.

13.When you want to stop the tape, press
the STOP ( @ ) @ button. Only after
the STOP ( # ) button has been pressed -
can the cassette be ejected by pressing
the EJECT button.
Now that your deck is "up and running"
be sure
that you get maximum
value
from your investment by carefully read-
ing the rest of this manual. Information

4.Au moyen du cable a broches qui con-
vient, raccordez les sorties (OUTPUT)
droite (R) et gauche (L) (respectivement
rouge et blanche) aux entrées magnéto-
phone

7.Enfoncez
la
touche
d'alimentation
(POWER) @. Le compteur numérique

en
appuyant
sur

touche
d'éjection

9 Introduisez
une cassette préenregistrée
avec le couloir vers le bas et la face que
vous voulez écouter vers vous.

10.Poussez
sur
le compartiment-cassette
pour le refermer.
11. Faites défiler la bande en appuyant sur la
touche de lecture (PLAY) ( >») @.
Les
axes de la cassette doivent se mettre a
tourner et |'indicateur de niveau

s'allumer suivant le niveau de l'enregistre-
ment.

12. Faites tourner la commande
de sortie
(OUTPUT) @ pour obtenir un niveau
d'écoute agréable.

appuyez sur la touche STOP
