CH. 2 INTRODUCTION

2.1 DESCRIPTION OF LIFT

• Product name: CAR LIFT
• Product description: Electromechanical lift with two posts and telescopic arms.
Chassis-level lift

2.2 INTENDED USE

The product is intended for lifting motor vehicles in accordance with current legislation, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC; the load
capacity is as indicated on the serial number plate.
The lift is designed for indoor use not subject to the action of wind.
Vehicles having the following characteristics may be lifted:
- the weight must not exceed the lift capacity (see fig. A) as required by the UNI EN 1493:2010 standard
- the lift complies with the 3/4 – 1/4 load distribution and reversibility condition expressed by 1493:2010 (fig. B).
- minimum distance of pickup points: mm.1000 (Fig. C).
For lower distance values, the lift capacity will be reduced. In this case or in other cases not covered by this manual, the manufacturer
should be contacted.
