@ Connect
the speaker cords to the SPEAKERS
terminals on the rear panel (Fig. 11).
@When
installing
on
a wail,
etc., remove
the
speaker
cover
and
the
wire
clamp,
then
extend
the
speaker
cords.
Avoid
thin
walls
which screws could go through (Fig. 12).
ANTENNAS
AM external antenna (Fig. 13)

reception
is unsatisfactory,
connect
an
external
AM
antenna
(single-wire
antenna)
to
the AM ANTENNA terminal.
FM antennas
@ 75-ohm antenna with coaxial lead (Fig. 14)
Loosen
the screws
on
the bracket
and
insert
the cable into the ring from below, Then con-
nect the stripped
core to the upper screw ter-
minal.
The
bracket
ring works
as the ground
terminal.
@ Feeder antenna (Fig. 15)
Connect to the 300-ohm
terminals.
@ Provided FM antenna (Fig. 16)
Connect to the 75-ohm
terminal.
Tips for better FM reception
If the antenna
is not installed
properly, recep-
tion
will
be poor,
regardless
of the capability
of the tuner, Try to find the most suitable an-
tenna and the optimum
direction
for the best
possible performance of your tuner,

FM/AM
external
antenna
terminals
are
not
supplied for West Germany.
