OPERATION
1. Press the POWER
switch
after setting the
VOLUME
contro!
to MIN, An FM or AM
broadcast
will be received according to the
setting of the TIMER
START
switch.

has been already turned on, pro-
ceed to step 2.
Listening to broadcasts

the radio
band
by pressing the FM
or AM switch,

MUTE/MODE

noise will be eliminated when
tuning to FM broadcasts.

Tune
to
the
required
frequency.
When
an
FM
or AM
broadcast
is received, the dial
indicator tight changes from green to orange.
If a stereo
FM
broadcast
is received, the
FM STEREO indicator will light.
6. Adjust the VOLUME
control as required,
Note:
When
receiving
an
SW
broadcast,
tuning
may drift. lf this happens, tune to it again.
Hints for listening to broadcasts

It is difficult to receive
FM
broadcasts
if an
antenna
is not connected to the FM antenna
terminals,
Connect
the provided
FM
antenna
correctly
referring to the "ANTENNA
section.
Arrange it in the direction for best reception.
When
installing
the
handle,
adjust
the
tele-
scopic
antenna
by extending
it or changing
its angle
or direction.
In weak
signal areas,
install an outdoor
FM antenna.

is for the reception

MW,
SW1
and
LW
broadcasts,

antenna

the
reception
of SW2
and SW broadcasts.
In a concrete

eingestellt
ist, wechselt

Farbe

orange.
Wenn
ein
UKW-Stereosender
empfangen
wird, leuchtet die FM STEREO-Anzeige.
