5. Repair of faults

In the event of an incident, disconnect the filter unit from the mains supply as a precaution
measure. In case of a potential electrical fault, it is obligatory to consult an electrician.
Fault
Extraction perfor-

The device does
not start.
Possible cause
Filter elements are saturated.
The throttle valve of the suction
hood is closed.
The suction hose or suction arm is
not or not correctly closed.
The clean air outlet is narrowed or
covered.
The suction duct is narrowed.
The suction element is damaged.
The mains plug is not or not
correctly plugged into the socket.
The socket is not supplied with
voltage.
Remedy
Replace the filter elements, dispose of the
used filters appropriately!
Open the throttle valve.
Check the position of the suction hose or
the suction arm and connect it if necessary.
Check the clean air outlet, repair the fault if
necessary.
Check the suction duct, repair the fault if
necessary.
Replace the extraction element.
Check/correct the mains connection.
Check the electric circuit.
If necessary, consult an electrician.
