c) How to use the table stand and wall-mounting
The base unit has a removable table stand.
If you wish to place the base unit on a surface, attach the table stand to the base
unit until it is engaged, as shown in figure below.
To mount the base unit on a wall, hang it on a screw head using the
corresponding mounting hole on the back of the unit.
The remote sensor is equipped with a metal bracket which allows for placement
on a surface. Attach it to the corresponding hole on the back of the unit, see
figure below.

9. Operation
a) General information
• The "RESET" button on the base unit should only be used in cases where
the unit is malfunctioning (odd icons appear on the LC display). This can
happen, for example, while inserting the batteries.
Carefully press and hold the "RESET" button for one or two seconds, using
a pointed object (for example a ball-point pen).
• Once batteries have been inserted into the remote sensors, they start
transmitting temperature readings at 40-second intervals.
• The base unit will start searching for the remote sensor signals about one
minute after the batteries have been installed.
Upon signal reception, the temperature and humidity measured by the
remote sensor will be displayed (or switch to another remote sensor by
pressing the "CHANNEL" button).
The base unit updates the display automatically.
• If no signal is detected, blanks "- - - -" for temperature and "- -" for humidity
are displayed for that particular remote sensor.
Press the "MEM" and "CHANNEL" buttons at the same time to trigger a
further signal search. This function is very useful to synchronize the
transmission and reception between remote sensors and base unit.
• If the display window for the temperature is exceeded or undershot (see
technical specifications), "HHH" or "LLL", respectively, appears on the
display.
b) Switching between time/date display modes
Briefly pressing the "MODE" button several times will toggle the bottom display
line between the clock, clock with weekday and date.
