k) Displaying stored barometric pressure readings
The weather station stores barometric pressure readings of the last 24 hours.
To display barometric pressure readings of the last 24 hours, briefly press the
"HISTORY" button on the back of the base unit. A barometric pressure value,
measured one hour before will appear on the display. Pressing the button again
will return the display to the value measured two hours before.
The barometric pressure can be displayed in "mb/hPa" or in "inHg". The desired
display unit can be selected by means of the slide switch located on the rear of
the unit.
You can also make an altitude adjustment necessary for displaying the
barometric pressure:
To have the local barometric pressure displayed/measured, select "0 meter"
(default setting) for altitude adjustment.
To display the barometric pressure corrected to the altitude above the sea level,
adjust the local altitude (altitude of your house/location in meters); this will
correct the display reading.
To adjust the local altitude (altitude above the sea level) proceed as follows:
• Hold the button "HISTORY" on the back of the base unit for some seconds
until the barometric pressure indicator disappears and a digit starts flashing.
Depress the button.
• By pressing the " " / " " rocker buttons you can correct the altitude by
applying an adjustment possible from -100 m to 2500 m.
Hold one of the two buttons longer to allow fast adjustment.
• To finish the adjustment, briefly press the "HISTORY" button, the new
altitude setting is stored.
