5. To cancel the self-cleaning
function: Press the
– On/Off button (3),
– mode button (4) or the
– self-cleaning button (1).
Self-cleaning lasts for 120 sec-
onds. The display (5) shows the
time remaining in seconds.
After self-cleaning, the appli-
ance automatically switches on
brush roller drying. The display
shows the 'Brush roller drying'
symbol
(27).
Brush roller drying lasts 4 hours.
You can cancel this at any time by
removing the appliance from the
charging station.
If the wastewater tank (6)
becomes
self-cleaning up to the MAX
mark, self-cleaning is interrupt-
ed. On the display (5) the 'Waste-
water tank full' symbol
flashes.

Empty and clean the waste-
water tank (6) and replace
the empty wastewater tank in
the appliance (see "Emptying
and cleaning the wastewater
tank" on page EN-27).

If the water required for
self-cleaning in the fresh
water tank (12) runs out, the
display (5) shows the 'Fresh wa-
ter tank empty' symbol

Fill the fresh water tank up to
the MAX mark and reinsert it
into the appliance (see "Fill-
ing the fresh water tank" on
page EN-20).
If the charging status of the
battery pack (18) falls below
10 %, the self-cleaning func-
tion does not start.
•
Wait until the charging status
is 10 % or more and then
press the self-cleaning button
(1) again.
