Switching on and off
Switching on the
appliance
1. Remove the appliance from
the charging station (14) and
place it upright on the floor.
2. Attach the brush unit (7) to the
foot and pull the handle (2)
back.
This releases the appliance.
Without releasing it, you can-
not switch the appliance on.
3. Press the On/Off button (3) to
switch on the appliance.
Switching the appliance
off
1. Press the On/Off button (3).
After a delay of about 2 sec-
onds, the appliance switches
off.
2. Slide the handle (2) forward
until it audibly clicks into the
upright position.
Operation
Setting the suction
force
1. Switch the appliance on (see
"Switching on and off" on
page EN-23).
2. Press the Mode button (4) to
select between auto and max
modes.
The mode indicator (Auto/
Max) (20) on the display (5) in-
dicates which mode you have
selected.
Using the spray
function
1. Press the On/Off button (3) to
switch off the appliance.
2. Fill the fresh water tank (12)
(see "Filling the fresh water
tank" on page EN-20).
3. Switch the appliance on (see
"Switching on and off" on
page EN-23).
4. Press and hold the spray
function button (8) to start the
spray function.
5. Release the spray function
button to stop the spray func-
tion.
