Once the frequency on the received CTCSS tone has been identified, the CTCSS tone will stop
flashing and the scanned CTCSS tones will be stored in memory (only in VFO mode).
Scan DCS codes
This function allows scanning frequencies that have activated DCS codes.
Press the MENU - [3] - [2] keys to access menu no. 32: SEEK D023N
SEEK D023N will appear on the screen.
Press the MENU key again to start scanning. Press the EXIT key to stop scanning.
In this mode, even if the transceiver receives an RF signal on the selected MR channel or on the
selected VFO frequency, the DCS code scan will continue at the bottom of the screen. Once
the bits on the received DCS code have been identified, the DCS code tone will stop flashing
and the scanned DCS codes will be saved to memory (in VFO mode only).

Dual Watch

The PNI P17UV transceiver has the Dual Watch function with the ability to lock the transmit
frequency to one of the two channels it monitors..
When the Dual Watch function is active, the D icon appears on the screen.
