20. Scan Mode

Shortcut [MENU] [20]
The transceiver can scan in frequency mode or in channel mode.
Options:
• Time (Time-operated SCAN)
When a signal is detected, the transceiver will stop scanning for 5 seconds, after which the
transceiver will continue scanning even if the signal still persists.
• Carrier (Carrier-operated SCAN)
When a signal is detected, the transceiver will stop scanning. It will resume scanning after the
signal disappears.
• Search (Search SCAN)
The transceiver will stop scanning after detecting a signal.
21. PTT-ID
Shortcut [MENU] [21]
With this setting you decide when to send the ANI-ID code in TX mode.
Options:
• Off: press the PTT key to disable this function
• BOT: the code is sent when you press the PTT key
