Basic operations

Turn the transceiver on
Rotate the On/Off knob to the right to turn on the transceiver. You will hear 2 confirmation
beeps. The screen will light up and will first display the welcome interface (PNI logo), followed
by the display of frequencies or channels. If the voice prompt function is active, you will hear the
message "frequency mode" or "channel mode", depending on the setting.
Turn the transceiver off
Rotate the On/Off knob to the left to turn Off the transceiver. You will hear a click.

Adjusting the volume

After turning on the transceiver, keep turning the On/Off knob to the right or left to adjust
the volume to the desired level. Do not use the transceiver for a long time with the volume at
maximum level.

Making a call

Note: Press the EXIT key to change the main channel, if there are 2 channels displayed on the
