14. Additional functions
a) Automatic display rotation
The measuring device has an in-built gravity sensor. In the event of a change to the position of
the measuring device, the display on the LC display automatically rotates in increments from
the initial position of 0° to the 90°, 180° and 270° positions so that it remains readable. Display
rotation can be switched on and off.
Proceed as follows to activate display rotation:
•
Press and hold the up button
•
When the function is switched off, the lock symbol
display will no longer change if the position of the measuring device is changed.
b) Uploading measurement data to a PC
•
Install the software to allow you to analyse the data on your computer.
•
To do this, insert the software CD supplied into the corresponding drive on your computer.
•
If the installation does not start automatically, install it manually.
•
Double-click on the 'Setup' file, follow the installation instructions and complete the instal-
lation.
•
After installation, start the software to use it.
Ensure that the battery level of the measuring device is sufficient before you use it
together with the software.
•
Connect the USB cable to the connection (10) on the measuring device and connect the
USB-A plug to the PC.
•
You can upload data stored on the measuring device or send data directly or in real time to
the software on the PC.
•
If you have any questions regarding operation of the software, open the operating instruc-
tions for the software from the Help menu.
The measuring device cannot be supplied with power via the USB connection. It is
powered by battery only. The USB connection is only for data transfer.

If you no longer need the software, remove it using the Software Manager. Confirm removal
of the software..
