5.1 Connection hints

Should there be a possibility of high energy transients when
operating with long cable lengths it is recommended that an
overvoltage protector be connected.
Screened signal cables are recommended when using the
following:
- RTDs
- Using the serial interface

5.2 Connections/terminal layout

5.3 RS 232 serial interface cable
Connect data-logger to a PC using the RS 232 serial interface
cable.
Using the ReadWin software package:
- the data-logger can be set up.
- Data stored in the data-logger can be transmitted to a PC and
then evaluated.
Attention: Make sure that the RS 232 plug is correctly
connected to the data-logger and screwed tight. If this is not
done correctly problems in data transmission from the
data-logger to the PC could occur.
