KEEP WARM FUNCTION

After heating, with the keep warm function activated, the appliance will switch to the
keep warm function automatically, keeping the set temperature for up to 30 minutes.
While the keep warm function is running, the ON/OFF button will be illuminated
in yellow. After 30 minutes in keep warm the heating elements will be deactivated
completely and the ON/OFF button will get dark (standby mode).
By simply pressing the KEEP WARM button, the keep warm function may be activa-
ted or deactivated even while a heating cycle is running.
NOTE
When you have set a temperature above 90°C the keep warm function will
always fall back to 90°C. This is because the water within the kettle will be vapo-
rized too quickly, when boiling for a long period of time, leading to a lot of steam
escaping from the appliance. Additionally, the water level could go down below
the MIN filling level, thus causing the risk of overheating and high loss of energy.
In fact: The higher the set temperature, the higher the energy consumption for kee-
ping warm will be.
NOTE
A beep sounds 3 times each time the water boils to the target temperature. The hol-
ding temperature for setting the boiling temperature 100 ° and 95 ° is 90 °, and
for others the holding temperature is the same as for setting the boiling temperature.
So: (for example: the set boiling temperature is 100 °, beeps 3 times when coo-
king is finished, warming light changes to orange color and when the temperature
drops to 90 °, the buzzer beeps to remind you to warm up hold until the warming
is finished, a signal tone sounds (5 times).
