Diaphragm valve type 514, 515, 517, 519
5. Hold handwheel while screwing new diaphragm clockwise hand-tight into inner housing. Then loosen by at least 90° and posi-
tion the lugs of the diaphragm exactly between the narrow guide ridges of the inner housing.
WARNING!
Diaphragm screwed in incorrectly!
If the diaphragm is not correctly screwed into the inner housing as specified, leaks and material damage may occur. The function of
the valve is no longer guaranteed.
► Screw the diaphragm correctly into the inner housing.
6. If the diaphragm material is changed: Loosen and remove the friction lock on the Valve body using a screwdriver. Press in the
new friction lock.
7. Place the top part on the Valve body in the open position.
DANGER!
Do not grease the housing nut!
The use of grease, especially on amorphous plastics, can cause stress cracking on the Valve body. There can be consequences after
contact with hazardous medium. The functioning of the valve is no longer guaranteed.
► Do not use any grease on the threaded connection between the housing nut and the Valve body.
