1. Place the baking pan in position and then press down until it locks in the
correct position.
2. Fix the kneading paddles (4) onto the drive shafts. Turn the kneading paddles
clockwise until they click into place and slightly move down. We recommend
filling the holes with heat-resisting margarine prior to place the kneading
paddles to avoid the dough sticking on the kneading paddles. This will also
help to easily remove the kneading paddles.
3. Place ingredients into the baking pan. Please observe the correct order of the
ingredients! Pour water or liquid substance into the pan first, then add salt,
sugar and flour (according to recipe add dry ingredients) and finally add yeast
or baking powder to the flour. Make sure yeast does not come into contact
with liquid or salt.
Always observe the maximum quantities of flour and yeast which may be
used in the recipe (see recipes on page 28). When using too much dough, it
can overflow and burn tight on the heating element.
4. Make a small indentation on the top of flour with your finger and add yeast
into the indentation.
5. Close the lid gently and plug the power cord into a wall outlet.
6. Press the button Menü until your desired programme is selected. Press the
button Bräunung to select the desired browning grade. Press the button
Gewicht to select the desired loaf weight.
7. If you wish to use delayed start time function (example: it is night time and
you want to have fresh baked bread next morning), press the button Zeit and
adjust the time delay. See the chapter "Button: Zeit" on page 22.
If you want to start operation now, press the button START/STOP. You will
hear a confirmation sound and the timer colon starts flashing. The display
KNET1
shows
the bread maker will continue with rising and baking process.
