• DO NOT place the child car seat on a car's seat fitted with an active front air bag, as this can
be dangerous. This does not apply to side air bags.
• If you want to install the child car seat on the passenger seat, disengage the air bag.
It is recommended that you install the child car seat only on the car's rear seats. Please
refer to your vehicle owner's manual to see whether your car's bench seat is suitable for use
with a child seat.
• It is only suitable for installation if the approved vehicles are fitted with three-point
retractor seat belts approved in compliance with UN/ECE Regulation No 16 or other
equivalent standards (figure B).
• Make sure that all belts affixing the child car seat to the vehicle are secured, the internal
safety harness is adjusted to the child's body, and the belts are not twisted.
• The child car seat must be replaced if it has been exposed to sudden forces acting
on it during an accident.
• The child car seat may not be modified in any way.
• The child car seat should be protected against direct sunlight, otherwise the hot elements
may burn your baby.
• Never leave your child in the child car seat unattended.
• Make sure that luggage and other items are adequately secured, in particular those on the
parcel shelf under the rear window, as in the event of a collision, they may cause bodily
injury.
• The child car seat is not to be used without the padding.
• Do not use any padding other than that recommended by the manufacturer, because
it forms an integral part of the child car seat's safety system.
• It is recommended that you follow the child car seat instruction manual throughout
the entire period of use.
• Do not use other tethering points than the tethering points specified in the instructions and
marked on the child car seat.
• All hard elements and plastic parts of the child car seat are to be placed and installed in such
a way that under normal conditions of use of the vehicle, they cannot be trapped by the
sliding seat or door of the vehicle.
• Regularly check the technical condition of the child car seat; pay particular attention to the
tethering points, stitching, and adjusting elements. Make sure that all mechanical elements
are fully operational. Never grease or oil the parts of the child car seat.
• Stop using the child car seat if any of its parts are damaged or loose.
• If an emergency arises, it is important to quickly unfasten the seat belts. This means that
the button releasing the safety harness (figure A, item 6) is not fully secured, so make sure
that your child knows not to play with the safety harness buckle.
• Do not use the child car seat at home. It is not suitable for home use, and it must be used
only when travelling in a car.
• The back of the child car seat's backrest must rest flat against the back of the car's seat.
