General notes on delivery
Please make sure that the delivered material are cor-
responding to the delivery Iist (bill or invoice deliv-
ered together with the appliance).
Please make sure that the delivered parts of the ma-
chine don't present any damages caused by impacts
during the transport.
Control if the threading of the tubes, which are pro-
truding from the unit, is all right.
Don't install any faulty components.
lf you note damages before the assembly of the ap-
pliance, please contact the reseller.
Transport
The unit is supplied in cardboard packaging.
For packaging dimensions, see page p. 148, for
weight see from page p. 25
The vehicle unloading operations are the responsi-
bility of the recipient.
After unpacking the appliance, make sure it is un-
damaged and corresponds to the unit requested.
In the event of damage or if the identification code
does not correspond to that ordered, contact your
dealer immediately, quoting the series and model.
• some parts of the appliance have got sharp edges
• the appliance has to be transported by persons
with working gloves
• the parts of the machine have got a considera-
ble weight and volume: please have two persons
transport or move the appliance
Please don't use the tubes, which protrude from the
battery sections, as transport handles.
Handling and storage
The units must be handled by at least two persons.
The Ocean ECM units must be stored in a dry place
protected from the weather.

INSTALLATION
Mechanical installation
The installation of the machine has to be performed
exclusively by qualified and adeguately trained tech-
nical staff.
Always install the unit with a slight slope of
5 mm towards the condensate drain.
Respect the installation direction shown by the small
arrow on the label.
The non-compliance can pose serious safety risks.
The double insulated panel fan coils are fitted with
four perforated brackets that allow them to be fixed
to the ceiling with expansions plugs having a suita-
ble size to support their weight (M8 threaded screws
are recommended).

C = Condensate drain
In the false ceiling, provide access to the machine for
maintenance.
Also provide a panel that can be easily removed to
allow the filter to be removed and cleaned.
Compact Version installation
Compact Versions must be installed as described in
the following chapters.
If they are to be installed with additional modules,
follow the instructions for junctions in the following
sections.
