The height difference between the condensation
drain and the siphon trap must also correspond to
the height H (mm of water column).
Connect the siphon to the drain according to the
figure.
Install a condensate drain pipe with a slope
of at least 3 cm/metre.
Pour a few litres of water into the condensate collec-
tion tray to make sure it is properly evacuated. In case
of problems, check the sizing of the siphon, slopes or
possible obstructions.
If there is a second heat exchange coil, pro-
ceed as described above if the connection
side is to be changed.
If there is a risk of ice, insulate the drain pipe
and keep the temperature above freezing;
for example by using a heating element.
Valves
The three-way valves can be used either in the
direction of flow, as indicated by the arrow on
the valve body, or in the opposite direction to
the one indicated on the valve body, without
impairing operation and keeping the Kv value
unchanged.
It is therefore important to respect the direc-
tion of installation of the valve on the unit as
well as the direction of water inlet and outlet
shown in this manual.
