Description of main components
The characteristics of the components used for the
Compact and Modular Versions are the same.
The main components are:
• Fan assembly
• Coil
• Filter group
Both Compact and Modular Versions are composed
by self-extinguishing panels for the thermo-acoustic
insulation.
Fan assembly
The ventilation group is composed of:
• Three phase permanent magnet DC brushless
electronic motor that is controlled with current re-
constructed according to a BLAC sinusoidal wave.
The inverter board that controls the motor opera-
tion is powered by 230 Volt, single-phase and, with
a switching system, it generates a three-phase fre-
quency modulated, wave form power supply. The
electric power supply required for the machine is
therefore single-phase with voltage of 230 V and
frequency of 50-60 Hz.
• Two plastic impellers directly coupled to the shaft
of the motor, dynamically balanced.
• Casing: self-supporting sandwich panel made up
of two galvanised sheet metal panels on the inside
and galvanised and pre-painted RAL 9006 on the
outside. A 22 mm thick polystyrene foam panel
with a density of 30 kg/m

• Electrical devices with a terminal board for the
connections.
It is essential to create the necessary head losses in
the circuit, so that the fan works within the optimal
curves, and the absorption in W/A do not exceed the
maximal values stated on page p. 22.
Motor designed to operate in an air tempera-
ture range of -10°C / +55°C.
Coil
The heat exchange coil is made with copper tubes
and aluminium finned mechanically bonded onto
the tube by an expansion process.
Coils for 2-pipe systems are available in 3, 4 or 6 row
versions.
Additional coils for 4-pipe systems are available in 1,
2 or 3 row versions.
Male gas threaded coil supply connections.

Filter group
The filter unit is available with:
• G0 regenerable synthetic filter
• Class ePM 50% (ex G4) syntetic filter

It is possible to equip the filter unit with a filter in
class ePM 55% (former F7), available as accessory
1
(delivered unassembled).

For the compact Ocean ECM versions, the basic ma-
chine is already composed of the fan section, the
coil(s) and the filter.
