Disinfecting the faucet
The faucet must be cleaned regularly so
that bacteria do not build up inside it. We
recommend disinfecting the faucet every
2 months.
There may still be some residual water
inside the tapping valve, which can drip
out when the outlet is disassembled.
Designer faucet
Use these images for assistance when
disinfecting the faucet, and follow these
steps: First unscrew the screwcap on the
pipe.
Remove the pipe of the faucet.
Unscrew the coupling nut of the designer faucet
Once the faucet has been disassembled
you will find the following pieces: pipe
with O-ring seals, the vitalising stainless
steel coil, and a support ring. These parts
will be placed back into the faucet after
disinfection.
Extract the spiral from the designer faucet

Pour some disinfecting gel into the un-
derside of the pipe.
Maintaining the BestWater System
Pour desinfection gel into the designer faucet
Insert the pipe cleaner into the pipe.
Inset the pipe cleaner into the outlet pipe
Push the pipe cleaner through to the end
of the pipe.
Push the pipe cleaner through the outlet pipe
Push and pull the pipe cleaner nume-
rous times back and forth. This ensures
that the disinfectant is spread evenly
throughout the pipe.
Reset the pipe and the vitalising stainless
steel coil, with seal, back into the faucet
socket. Then screw the screwcap finger-
tight back onto the pipe socket.
Screw the coupling nut on the designer faucet socket
Let about 7 - 10 litres of water flow
through the faucet to rinse out the re-
maining disinfectant.
