Maintaining the BestWater System

Now you can replace the system's post-
filter. Push the connecting rings at the
ends of the post-filter inward and remove
the quick connects from the post-filter.
Use the instructions and images on page
40 for assistance if necessary.
Loosen the couplings and the hoses on the post filter
Remove the post-filter from its fastening
clamps and install the new post-filter.
Remember the direction of the water
flow when installing the new post-filter.
This goes from the bottom up.
Change the post filter
Now connect the hoses to the new post-
filter. Once all filters have been replaced
you can reattach the front hatch back to
the BestWater system.
Finally you must disinfect the unit. Clo-
se the stopcock on the stored pressure
tank.
Remove the hose from the stopcock of
the stored pressure tank.

Close the tap on the pressure tank and remove the hose
Set the disinfection module onto the
stopcock of the stored pressure tank and
connect it to the BestWater system so
that the purified water can flow through
the disinfection module into the tank.
Install the desinfection modul to the stored pressure tank
You can now turn on the flow of water to
the appliance.
Open the water supply at the corner valve
Wait about 5 minutes, until the pre-filters
have filled with water and been rinsed.
Open the stopcock on the reservoir tank.
The system is now producing purified
water that flows through the disinfec-
tion module and dissolves the hydrogen
peroxide (H O ) within the disinfection

module. When draining later, the dis-
infectant will disinfect all hoses that the
purified water passes through.
