It is also necessary to ensure that the pipes under the tub are acces-
sible, for instance by creating a passage around the external perim-
eter of the tub. This passage must be wide enough (approx. 80 cm)
to house all the electrical and hydraulic connections and to allow for
any maintenance operations (part.2); it can be shut off with remov-
able boards (part.3), resting on suitable supports (part.4).
Any stagnant water must also be drained (part.5) and there must
be suitable ventilation.
■ All models
As the sizes of the models may vary slightly, before installing the
hot tub always check the measurements.
m
If the tub is installed on a mezzanine, terrace, roof or
another similar structure, please seek advice from a
building engineer.

3) The support base must be flat and level so as
to support the weight of the hot tub evenly and not
compromise the tank compensation capacity. If this
is not the case, the front panels or methacrylate shell
may become damaged. Any such damage is not cov-
ered by the warranty.
The support base must hold the hot tub load, taking
into account the "Weight" tables above.
m
Prolonged sun exposure could damage the material the
hot tub shell is made of, due to its capacity to absorb
heat (dark colours in particular). When it is not in use, do
not leave the hot tub exposed to the sun exposure with-
out adequate protection (thermal cover, gazebo, etc.).
Any damage resulting from failure to observe these
warnings is not covered by the product warranty.
The site where the hot tub is installed must be de-
signed to ensure that the hot tub itself can be re-
moved or relocated, if necessary.
Position the hot tub away from glass and/or reflec-
tive surfaces in order to avoid possible damage to the
panelling.
Make sure any paving, furniture, walls, etc. present in
areas adjacent to the hot tub are suitable for use in
the conditions described above.
If the product is installed indoors, allow for the fact
that the evaporation of the water in the hot tub may
create very high levels of humidity (particularly when
the ambient temperature is high). Natural or forced
ventilation will help preserve user comfort and re-
duce damage to the building caused by humidity.
Jacuzzi Europe declines all responsibility for any dam-
age caused by excessive humidity or by overflowing
water. Consult a specialist for indoor installations.
SPA-PACK
(the following also applies to the spa-pack booster kit; please see
the relative documentation).
The support base must hold the hot tub load, taking into ac-
count the "Weight" tables above.
■ To ensure the spa-pack functions correctly, take not of the
0
specifications in
1: the shorter the pipelines, the lower the
pressure drop. Avoid bends wherever possible (we recommend
using PVC hoses).
■ For optimal system operation, the spa-pack should be installed
on the same level as the hot tub or, if necessary, on a lower level
0
(see
1).
■ The spa-pack must be installed in a closed but ventilated
space which can only be accessed using a key or tool, protected
from water and weathering.
N.B. As some settings and standard maintenance require access to
the devices in the spa-pack (setting the heating temperature, back-
washing the filter,
emptying the system, etc.), we recommend ensuring easy access for
the system manager.
■ The devices used to limit access to unauthorised persons must
also take into account protective electrical factors (direct and
indirect contacts) and the characteristics of the materials used.
Specifically, any cladding panels or structural parts, where made
from a conductive material, must guarantee a connection to the
earthing circuit and the additional equipotential connection
where relevant and necessary for the type of installation.
Where plastic, wood, etc. are used, ensure that they are certi-
fied for use with electrical installations, including in terms of
their self-extinguishing properties.
SPA / SPA-PACK
■ Any excavations and ducts
required for the electrical or plumbing connections with the spa-
pack or the drainage points must be prepared in advance.
Preparing the plumbing connections
■ The pipework (including connectors, sluice valves, etc.
for connecting the hot tub to the spa-pack must be laid by the
installer.
■ The plumbing pipes are indicated in
tioned so as to avoid creating any siphons.
■ If the main spa-pack uses a heat exchanger to heat the wa-
ter, the primary circuit also needs to be connected to the sys-
tem providing the hot water, and the electrical box needs to be
connected to the devices (solenoid valve, electric pump) that will
control the hot water recirculation in the primary circuit in the
exchanger.
