Note, a system may take 24 hours to vent all the air in the system to atmosphere.
ATTENTION DO NOT run the pump dry as this will result in bearing failure.
SPEED REGULATOR – CPS
Speed regulator adjustment should only be made with electrical supply
switched off.
Models offer a 3-speed setting to allow system requirements to be accurately met.
(Fig 5).
1. It is always preferable to use the lowest performance where this gives
circulation sufficient to heat all the heat emitters evenly (uneven distribution
of heat may be due to the need to balance the flow of water in each
heat emitter).
2. If the pump is set at too high a speed, flow noise may occur in the system and in
particular at the thermostatic valves. This can be rectified by switching to a lower
speed.
3. If the pump performance requirement is not known start with the lowest pump
setting. If heat emitters remain cold, or if the boiler inlet and outlet temperature
differential (specified by the manufacturers of the boiler) is not achieved
increase the flow by adjusting the speed control as shown in (Fig 5).

Adjusting the pump capacity
1. Select desired control mode (refer to chapter 3.1).
2. Preselect pump capacity (head) at the dial button according to requirements
(Fig. 6).
3. If head requirements are not known it is recommended to begin with a 1,5 m
setting.
4. If the heating capacity proves insufficient increase head setting step by step
5. Reduce head setting step by step if the heating capacity is too high or noise
generation is excessive.
6. Select night setback mode; switch either to On or Off (refer to chapter 3.1).
