7 Operation

7.1 General

Only operate the pumps under the operating parameters
and operating conditions as described in Chapter 3 Tech-
nical data [} 14].

Ensure the proper use of the pumps (See Chapter Proper
use).
à
Eliminate the possibility of improper use of the pumps
(see Chapter Improper use).

Observe the safety instructions (Chapter Safety).

Risk of burns from hot pump parts and/
or hot medium
Some pump parts may be hot during or
after operation of the pump.

Allow the pump to cool after opera-
tion.

Take protective measures to pro-
tect against touching hot parts.
Injury to eyes
Coming too close to the inlet/outlet of
the pump may result in injury to the
eyes due to the present vacuum/oper-
ating pressure.
à
Do not look into the pump inlet/
outlet during operation.
