9. CONTROLLI PRIMA
DELL'AVVIAMENTO
Il sedile scorre sulla guida avanti/indietro;
una volta seduti liberare lo scorrimento
tirando la levetta posizionata sul lato del
sedile e rilasciarla una volta trovata la
posizine più confortevole.
Controllate se le batterie sono già piene e
cariche, in caso contrario, troverete anche
delle boccette di soluzione già pronta
acidosolforica, procedete in questo modo:

Leggere prima al capitolo 5.
Tagliare con le forbici l'estremità del
recipiente plastico della soluzione
acidosolforica, e versarla per il travaso.
Togliere i tappi dalla batteria e quindi con
l'ausilio dell'imbuto versare fino al livello
massimo segnato all'esterno della batteria
(comunque 5/10 mm al di sopra delle piastre
o tubetti della batteria).
Una volta eseguito il riempimento, è bene
attendere dalle 12 alle 24 ore e fare un
ultimo rabbocco per portare tutti gli elementi
ad uno stesso livello massimo. Procedete
quindi alla carica della batteria attenendovi
alle istruzioni riportate nel capitolo 6.
IMPORTANTE: Il sedile, part.3 Fig.10a
è dotato di un interruttore di sicurezza
che spegne il motore nel caso in cui
l'operatore non sia correttamente seduto.
Pertanto per consentire il funzionamento
della macchina è indispensabile che
l'operatore occupi correttamente il posto
di lavoro come anche richiamato nel
capitolo 7.

9. CHECKS PRIOR TO START-UP
The seat runs on the forward/backward
slide; after sitting down, unlock the sliding
by pulling the lever on the seat side let it
go when the most comfortable position
has been found.
Check to see whether or not the batteries
are already full and charged; if they are not
you will find available ready-to-use tubes of
sulphuric acid. Proceed as follows:

WILL NEED SCISSORS, PRO-
TECTIVE GLOVES, POSSIBLY
GOGGLES, A CLEAN CONTAI-
NER FOR TRANSFER AND A
FUNNEL.
First of all read chapter 5.
Cut the end of the sulphuric acid solution
tube and pour it into the container.
Remove the plugs from the battery and
then, using the funnel, pour in the liquid to
the maximum level indicated on the outside
of the battery (in any case 5/10ths above
the plates or tubes of the battery).
After filling, wait from 12 to 24 hours
followed by a final top up to bring all the
elements to the same maximum level. Now
charge the battery, following the instruc-
tions given in chapter 6.
IMPORTANT: A safety switch on the seat,
item 3 Fig. 10a, turns the motor off if the
driver is not sitting properly.
This means that the operator must be
sitting properly for the sweeper to work,
as mentioned in Chapter 7.
