8. Use the polarization procedure programmed in the
M800 transmitter to polarize the senor in water with
> 50 ppb of ozone concentration to activate the sen-
sor. This procedure supplies a repeating voltage to
the sensor for a period of 11 minutes and is required
for rapid polarization of the sensor.
See M800 menu windows for clarification (the
METTLER TOLEDO Thornton M800 transmitter is
used for reference in this manual):
Screen appears when sensor is connected.
M800 will calculate polarization time.
Press Enter to advance menu.
M800 will automatically count down polarization
procedure time.
9. Allow at least 1 hour of powered operation in a
process sample with > 50 ppb of ozone concentra-
tion to stabilize the measurement before performing
a comparison calibration and a zero calibration as
described below.
