❖ When you set a temperature, you set an average temperature for the whole appliance.
Temperatures inside each area may vary from the temperature value indicated on the
display, depending on how much food you store and where you place them. Ambient
temperature may also affect the actual temperature inside the appliance. When you
set the temperature of the appliance these aspects should be taken into account
The set temperature can be changed as needed.
When the ambient temperature is very high, it is recommended to set the
temperature of the appliance to a colder setting if needed. If the colder setting should
cause strong formation of encrusted ice, please select a lower setting.
High ambient temperatures and simultaneously operating at the coldest setting may
make the compressor to operate permanently to keep the temperature constant
inside the appliance.
The control panel must be unlocked to perform the following settings (see also
chapter 4.7 K

4.5.1 Selection of the temperature unit

❖ Depending on model: the temperature of the appliance can be indicated in °C
(degree Celsius) or in °F (degree Fahrenheit).
❖ You can switch between the temperature units (°C and °F) as follows.
➢ Press and hold the «
