Cooking chamber light
The cooking chamber light switches on auto-
matically when
– the appliance is in operation;
– the cooking chamber door (8) is open.
Opening the cooking chamber
door
• To open the cooking chamber door (8)
press the button (16).
The appliance will pause if the cooking cham-
ber door (8) is opened while in operation.
Pause/stop
You can briefly pause or end the current ope-
ration in any heating mode with the
ton (15).
• Press the
button (15) once to pause ope-
ration: The turntable (3) will stop and the
cooking chamber light will go out. Press the
button (13) briefly to continue operation.
• Press the
button (15) twice quickly to end
the operation.
Setting the cooking time
You can only set the cooking time if you have
previously selected a heating mode (microwa-
ve, grill or combi). Depending on the heating
mode, a cooking time of up to 95 minutes is
possible.
1. Press the
button (10) to select the requi-
red heating mode.
2. Turn the control dial (12) until the desired
cooking time is reached.
3. To confirm the settings, press the
ton (13).

The cooking process will start.
Extending the cooking time
You can extend the cooking time in 30-se-
cond increments while cooking in many coo-
king programmes.
This is not possible with the follo-
wing programmes:
– Automatic programmes
– Defrosting programmes
– Multilevel cooking
• To extend the cooking time, press the
button (13) during the cooking process.
The remaining cooking time is extended by
30 seconds.
The cooking time extension can be repeated
several times if necessary.

Safety lock (child safety lock)
If the safety lock (child safety lock) is activated,
the indicator
None of the buttons or the control dial (12) can
then be operated.
The safety lock can be activated
only when the appliance is not in
operation.

• Press the
signal tone will sound and the indicator ap-
pears on or disappears from the display (9).
