Defrosting

The water that melts during defrosting
can contain harmful bacteria, especial-
ly with meat and poultry!
■ Avoid all physical contact with defrost
water.
■ Pour away the defrost water. Do not
use it for any other purpose.
■ Please ensure that you clean the dis-
hware you have used very thoroughly.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
may cause it to become damaged.
The grill rack is not suitable for micro-
wave mode.
■ Use the grill rack exclusively in simple
grill mode or hot air mode.

Within this programme, you can freely select
your desired defrosting time.
Preparation:
• Ideally, use food which has been frozen at
–18 °C in portions that are as thin as pos-
sible.
• Remove all packaging.
• Weigh the food for defrosting according to
weight.
• Place the food in an appropriately large
container which can collect the defrost wa-
ter without overflowing.
• Do not cover the food.
Defrosting by weight
1. Place the food in the cooking chamber and
close the cooking chamber door (8).
2. Press the button (11) once.
