Installation
Mounting bracket for appliance replacement
Am existing Stiebel Eltron mounting bracket may be used when
replacing appliances (except instantaneous water heater DHF).
f Break through the back panel of the appliance for the thread- f
ed stud on the pre-installed mounting bracket.
DHF replacement
f Reposition the threaded stud on the mounting bracket (the f
stud has a self-tapping thread).
f Rotate the mounting bracket through 180° and mount it on f
the wall (the DHF logo is then turned towards the reader).

f Adjust the wall clearance and lock the back panel with the f
fixing toggle by turning it clockwise through 90°.

Turned appliance cover
The appliance cover can be turned for undersink installation.

f Remove the programming unit from the appliance cover by f
pressing the locking hooks and taking out the programming
unit.
f Turn the appliance cover (not the appliance) and refit the f
programming unit, ensuring that all locking hooks click into
place. When clicking the locking hooks into place, make sure
you press against the inner side of the appliance cover (shad-
ed area).
f Plug the set value transducer cable into the PCB (see chapter f
"Commissioning").
f Hook the appliance cover back in at the bottom and pivot it f
up onto the back panel.
f Ensure the all-round seal of the back panel sits tightly by f
pushing the cover gently forwards and back.
f Secure the appliance cover. f
Operation with preheated water
By installing a central thermostatic valve you will limit the max-
imum inlet temperature (see chapter "Appliance description /
Accessories").
