Fitting procedure
5. Installing the insulation spacers onto the
LCD TV
Place the LCD TV face down on a clean blanket or other piece
of fabric free from dirt and foreign matter, and proceed as
instructed below.
Take care to prevent scratches or damage if the LCD TV has
protruding parts.
Remove the screws if they are already fitted to the screw holes
used with the wall-hanging bracket. (See illustration at right.)
Remove the four stand screws from the LCD TV. (See illustration
at right.)
Note
• Keep the stand and screws for later use.
Using the included Allen key, attach the flat countersunk hexagon
socket head screws, flat toothed washers, and insulating spacers
(four each) provided with the LCD TV, as shown at right.
• Use the correct insulation spacer attachment parts for the size of the
screws for your LCD TV. Use B (M4 screw set) for L32D Series. For
details on each model, refer to the External dimensions table. (on page
88-96)
A (M6 screw set)
(Tightening torque: 1.5 to 1.8 N•m)
B (M4 screw set)
(Tightening torque: 1.5 to 1.8 N•m)
6. Mounting the LCD TV onto the wall-
hanging bracket and connecting it to the
other components
• Fit the insulation spacers on the LCD TV onto the cutouts at the top of
the bracket when mounting the LCD TV.
Remove the left and right red-marked screws
and one at the right) used to anchor and release the LCD TV.
Fit the insulation spacers at the top of the LCD TV onto the
cutouts at the top of the wall-hanging bracket, and lower the
LCD TV.
Pull the LCD TV toward you as shown in the figure on the right,
and connect it to the other components.
After completing the connections, lift the LCD TV slightly, and
insert the insulation spacers at the bottom into the holes at the
lower part of the wall-hanging bracket.
Now lower the LCD TV.
CAUTION
• If the LCD TV is lifted too much, its top part will become disengaged
from the wall-hanging bracket.
