1. Slide the BAT / AC selection switch (14) to the position "BAT".
2. Turn the two screws on top of the product from the position "CLOSE" to "OPEN" to unlock the
power compartment.
3. Turn the two screws inside from the position "CLOSE" to "OPEN" to unlock the battery compartment.
4. Open the battery compartment and insert / replace six 1.5 V batteries type C while observing the
correct polarity.
5. Close and lock the battery compartment by turning the two screws inside from the position "OPEN"
to "CLOSE".
6. Close and lock the power compartment by turning the two screws inside from the position "OPEN"
to "CLOSE".
Alternating current power
1. Slide the BAT / AC selection switch (14) to the position "AC".
2. Connect the power cord (standard C13)to the power inlet (standard C14) (16) at the back of the
multimeter.
3. Connect the power plug of the power cord to a mains outlet.

10. MEASURING LINES

A pair of measurement leads and a pair of alligator clips are included. Depending on your needs,
select your desired pair of measuring leads. Insert the round end of the leads to the corresponding
jack.
If you are using the probes, touch the probes on the measuring points; If you are using the clips, clip
them on the measuring points.
