Reset modes supported by the
product
The product supports three different reset modes. The
modes differ in the firmware version loaded and in the
network settings.
Resets are initiated by the length of time the recessed
reset button is pressed. Resets can be initiated only
after the product has been switched on for at least five
seconds.

The factory default setting for the firmware
and the standard network settings cannot
be changed by a firmware update.
Resetting the product to one of the two
factory default setting modes does not
delete the most recent firmware update.
The next time the product is switched on,
it boots the most recently stored firmware.
This is the firmware version that was
loaded during the most recent update.
The firmware update is installed via
a connected PC and is described in
the User's Manual for Application
Development, see "Notes on reading the
documentation", Page 22.
Blinking pattern of the STATUS LED during a reset
While the reset button is being pressed, the reset modes
are indicated by the following blinking patterns of the
STATUS LED:

Remote reset can be used for remote triggering of the
product reset. The remote reset functions in the same
way as the reset initiated by the reset button on the
product.

The product starts the respective reset mode once the
Reset button is released.
While the Reset button is being pressed, the respectively
selected reset mode is indicated by the different blinking
modes of the STATUS LED (activated by releasing the
reset button).
