ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Meec Tools battery powered mini grinder is
a functional and practical tool that can be
used to cut and grind different materials (cuts
aluminium and plastic tubes up to 10 mm). It
has a lightweight and ergonomic body with
rubber coated grips and a torque of up to
19500 rpm. The diameter of the disc is 76 mm.
The angle grinder is supplied with diamond
cutting disc, grinding disc and hex key. Battery,
charger and other accessories can be bought in
Jula's department store and at www.jula.com.
ASSEMBLY
ADJUSTING THE GUARD
Adjust the guard so that sparks or ejected
fragments cannot hit the user or other persons.
The guard should be placed so that sparks
cannot set fire to any flammable material
nearby.
1. Remove the battery.
2. Put the guard in the required position.
The closed side of the guard should
always be turned towards the user.
FITTING / REPLACING CUTTING /
GRINDING DISCS
WARNING!
Wear safety gloves when handling discs – risk
of personal injury.
Before using for the first time, check that the
clamping screw is tightened.
1. Keep the spindle lock button pressed.
2. Undo the clamping screw with a hex key.
Release the spindle lock button.
3. Put the required cutting/grinding disc on
the retaining flange. The label on the disc
should be turned towards the product.
4. Press in the spindle lock button and
tighten the clamping screw with the hex
key. Release the spindle lock button.
NOTE:
Do not overtighten the clamping screw, this
could break the disc.
WARNING!
• Do not use the product unless all the
safety devices are correctly fitted and
working.
• Check that the speed indicated on the
disc is at least the same as the
maximum speed for the product.
• Check that disc size fits the product.
• Only use discs that are free of cracks and
other damage. Check the disc by
knocking it with a plastic hammer – it
should make a sharp sound.
