When dismantling, live parts can be exposed, which can result in electric shock if touched� Before dismantling
isolate the unit from the mains power supply and protect against being switching on again!
The generally applicable safety at work and accident prevention regulations must be observed!
– Electrical work must only be carried out by an authorised electrician
– Fully isolate electrical connection from mains power supply
– Use appropriate lifting equipment and fastening devices to dismantle the fan
– Observe the instructions in the electric motor maintenance manual for decommissioning the motor
– Dispose of the fan components according to the valid rules and laws

6�1 Standard wiring diagrams
The devices are supplied as standard with an internal potentiometer, this allows the control voltage and desired speed
between min. and max. can be set. The delivery includes an internal potentiometer in the terminal box, which can be
used to set any fan speed between min. and max. speed. For an external speed setting with a 0-10 V control signal,
the internal potentiometer must be removed.The diagrams show the potentiometer in principle. It is possible to connect
an internal or external potentiometer.
