3.2 Intended use
The pressure sensor is used for wireless transmission of a pressure and temperature value.
This instrument is not permitted to be used in hazardous areas!
This pressure sensor is not suitable for applications with direct food contact.
The models PEW-1000 and PEW-1200 have been developed for use in non-hazardous media, i.e. for media of fluid
group 2 in accordance with directive 2014/68/EU article 13. The use with hazardous media (fluid group 1 in accordance
with 2014/68/EU article 13) is not allowed.
The pressure sensor must not be used in applications with unstable fluids, especially hydrogen.
The remote monitoring of the process pressure via radio transmission is only suitable for non-critical and non-safety-
relevant applications.

The technical specifications contained in these operating instructions must be observed. Improper handling or
