Saw Blade Storage
Saw blades with a length of up to 100 mm can be
stored in the saw blade storage 5.
To remove the saw blades, pull out the saw blade
storage compartment completely.
Note: T 345 XF / T 234 X saw blades do not fit
into the saw blade storage.

Initial Operation

Inserting the Battery
Insert the charged battery 3 into the grip until it
engages noticeably.
Switching On and Off
To start the machine, release the switch lock 1
first (press at symbol) and then press the On/
Off switch 2 afterwards and hold.
To switch off the machine, release the On/Off
switch 2 and activate the switch lock 1 (press
at symbol).
Run-On Brake
An integrated run-on brake immediately reduces
the speed of the saw together with the saw blade
after switching off the machine.
Stepless Stroke-speed Control
Lightly pressing the On/Off switch 2 results in low
stroke speed. Applying more pressure increases
the stroke speed.
Contact Protector
The contact protector 11 attached to the machine
prevents unintentional contact with the saw blade
while working.
Sawdust Blower Device
The saw dust blower device leads an air jet to the
saw blade. The air jet keeps saw dust from cov-
ering the cutting line during operation.

Pendulum Action Setting
The four pendulum action settings allow optimum
adaptation of cutting speed, cutting capacity and
cutting pattern to the material being sawed.
The pendulum action can be adjusted in four
steps with the adjustment lever 7. Switching is
possible with the machine running:
Step 0: No pendulum action
Step I: Small pendulum action
Step II: Medium pendulum action
Step III: Large pendulum action
Recommendations:
– The more narrow and clean the cutting edge
should be, the lower the pendulum action level
should be selected (or switched off).
– For thin materials, e. g. sheet metal, switch the
pendulum action off.
– For hard materials, e. g. steel, work with low
pendulum action.
– For soft materials and when sawing in the di-
rection of the grain, work with maximum pen-
dulum action.
The optimal setting can be determined by practi-
cal testing.

Adjusting the Cutting Angle

Loosen the screw 16 and push the base plate 6
towards the saw blade. The foot plate can be
tilted up to 45° in both directions.
Various cutting angles can be precisely adjusted
with an angle gauge 15.
For precision bevel angles, the base plate has a
scale 13 with adjustment notches in steps of 15°.
For adjustment, the base plate must be pushed
back towards the battery.
After adjusting retighten the screw 16.
