Hold ventilationshullerne i maskinen rene for at
forhindre overophedning af motoren.
Gør regelmæssigt maskinhuset rent med en blød klud,
helst efter hver brug. Hold ventilationshullerne fri for
støv og smuds.
Hvis smudset ikke vil gå af, så brug en blød klud fugtet
med sæbevand. Brug aldrig opløsningsmidler som
benzin, alkohol, ammoniakvand osv. Disse
opløsningsmidler kan skade plasticdelene.
Smøring
Maskinen behøver ikke yderligere smøring.
Fejl
Kontakt din lokale Ferm-forhandler, hvis der skulle
opstå en fejl f.eks. på grund af, at en del er slidt.
Sidst i denne brugervejledning er indsat en
sprængtegning af de reservedele, der kan bestilles.
MILJØ
For at beskytte maskinen mod skader under transporten
leveres den i en robust emballage. Størstedelen af
emballagen kan genbruges. Indlever denne emballage på
de relevante genbrugsstationer.
Aflever dine kasserede maskiner, hvor du får foretaget
service. Her vil de blive bortskaffet på en måde, der er
sikker for miljøet.

Before cleaning or servicing the charger or battery
block, always pull the plug from the charger socket.
Never charge the battery block when the ambient
temperature is below 10°C or above 40°C.
The air vents in the charger must never be blocked.
The battery block must not be short-circuited.
A short-circuit will cause a high current to flow. This
may result in overheating, the danger of fire or
explosion of the battery block. This may damage the battery
block or the user may risk an accident.
Therefore:
Do not connect any cables to the poles of the battery
block.
Take care that there are no metal objects (nails,
paper clips, coins, etc.) on the contact surface of the
battery block.
Do not expose the battery block to water or rain.
Only use the battery block supplied in combination
with this cordless omnisaw/screwdriver so as to avoid
faults and/or risks to persons.
A damaged battery block or one that can no longer
be charged must be disposed of as special waste. Do
not discard it with household waste.
Never throw the battery block onto a fire or into
water. This will risk explosion!
BEFORE USING THE CORDLESS OMNISAW
Remove adjusting keys or wrenches before turning
the tool on.
Always wear eye protection when using the tool.
Maintain the tool with care.
Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts, and any other condition that may
affect the tools operation. If damaged, have the tool
serviced before using.
Use only accessories that are recommended by the
manufacturer for your model.
Compare the maximum number of revolutions
allowed of the accessories with the number of
revolutions of the machine.
Make sure that the spring chuck diameter is the same
as the axle diameter of the accessory.
The flutes of the bits (cutting edges and top) are very
sharp. Therefore, handle with caution.
USING THE MACHINE
Use clamps or a vice to hold the work.
Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn it
"ON" or "OFF".
Always hold the tool with two hands while starting.
Hold the tool by the insulated gripping surfaces when
performing an operation where the bit may contact
hidden wiring. If cutting into existing walls or other
blind areas is unavoidable, disconnect all fuses or
circuit breakers to the worksite.
Always use the tool with the depth guide securely
attached and positioned flat against the material
being cut.
Keep your hands away from the work piece.
In the case of locking, switch the machine off
immediately.
Never touch the bit during the use of the tool.
Ferm
Ferm
Do not touch the bit immediately after use since it
can become very hot during use.
Wait with changing the bit after the bit has cooled
down completely.
Switch the tool off and wait until the motor has
stopped completely before putting it down.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Always check whether your battery voltage
matches that shown on the rating plate. Also find
out whether your mains voltage matches the input voltage of
the charger.
The battery charger is doubly insulated in
compliance with EN60335; it therefore does not
require earthing.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
CONNECTING AND REMOVING THE
BATTERY
Fig. B
Ensure that the exterior of the battery block or tool
is clean and dry before connecting the charger.
Ensure that the On/Off switch is in the Off-position
to prevent the appliance from being switched on
unexpectedly.
Insert the battery (8) into the base of the appliance,
as shown on the illustration. Push the battery until it
latches in.
Press the locking buttons (14) on both sides before
removing the battery, and disengage the battery
from the base of the appliance.
INSTALLING A BIT
Fig.C - E
Before installing a bit, make sure the battery is
removed from the tool.
The flutes of the bit (cutting edges and top) are very
sharp. Therefore, handle with caution.
To install a bit
Locate the spindle lock button.
Press the spindle lock button with one hand and at
the same time loosen the collet nut with the other
hand using the wrench. Rotate the collet nut in
counterclockwise direction to loosen it. See Fig.B.
Remove the old bit, if applicable.
Insert the shank of the bit (smooth part) into the
collet. Approximately 1/16" to 1/8" of
the shank must remain visible above the collet. See
Fig.C.
Do not allow the entire shank of the bit to fall into
the collet, and do not tighten the collet around the
flutes (cutting edges). This will result in broken bits. See Fig.D.
