Starting, interrupting, resuming
and stopping the cooking process
Starting the cooking process
1. Select the power level as described in
the section "Selecting the power level" on
page EN-20.
2. Set the desired cooking time as described
in the section "Setting the cooking time"
on page EN-20.
3. Press the control dial (12).
The cooking process will start. The dis-
play (10) counts down the remaining cook-
ing time second by second.
You can extend the cooking time as
described in the section "Extending
the cooking time".
Interrupting the cooking process
• To interrupt the cooking process, press
the "Stop/Delete" button (14).
The cooking process will be interrupted.
The display shows the remaining cooking
time.
Resuming an interrupted cooking
process
• To resume an interrupted cooking pro-
cess, press the control dial (12) again.
The cooking process will then resume.
Stopping the cooking process
• To stop the cooking process, press the
"Stop/Delete" button (14) twice.
The cooking process will be stopped and
the time will be shown on the display (10).
Cooking in the grill and
microwave combi mode
Grill mode

The grill (17) is located on the cooking cham-
ber ceiling. It is used to quickly brown dishes
and cook them au gratin. Use the grill for the
following:
– steaks
– chops
– sausages
or to brown sandwiches or gratins.
1. Turn the selection dial (11) to the "Grill"
position.
The indicator " " will appear on the dis-
:
play (10).
2. Set the desired cooking time as described
in the section "Setting the cooking time"
on page EN-20.
3. Press the control dial (12).
The grill process will start. The indicator on
the display (10) counts down the remaining
grill time second by second.
Four beeps will sound once the grill time
has elapsed.
