It is not permitted to use the truck as a scooter.

2.3 Handling loads

Only handle loads that are within the allowed lift capacity of the truck,

according to the truck's type plate on the truck.
The length/width of the forks should be adapted to the load's shape and
▷
dimensions.
Only handle loads that are stable and arranged in a safe manner.
▷
Handle long and tall loads with special care.
▷
Place the centre of balance of the load as close as possible to the
▷
centreline of the truck.
2.4 Parking the truck
Use indicated parking space if such exist.
▷
Always park the truck with the forks lowered.
▷
Never park the truck:
▷
• on inclined floors.
• so that it hinders traffic and work or blocks emergency exits.
2.5 Other hazards and risks
The truck and its components correspond to valid safety precautions, but
even with intended use and in spite the work being performed with care and
according to valid standards and regulations, risks when handling the truck
can't be totally excluded. These risks include:
• Slipperiness due to oil leakage or spill from lubricants.
• Negligence at for instance loading docks, obscured visibility or narrow
spaces.
